IN SHORT: ah, college level filmmaking plus a couple of star names. [Not Rated. 106 minutes] OK, so there's this pretty boy homeless kid named Toby (Michael Pitt) who, just by being slightly off this planet, crosses paths with paparazzi stalking a "star" called K'Harma Leeds (Alison Lohman). Through dumb luck, said kid winds up assisting paparazzi photog Les Galantine (Steve Buscemi) who cleans him up and makes sleeping space in a closet in his loft [no sex]. Through even dumber luck, said kid winds up on the arm of the stalked star, which leads to a fabulous acting career and affair with casting agent (Gina Gershon] before his true love story is revealed on national television. It's a truly dumb movie, but one tailor made for Buscemi. On average, a first run movie ticket will run you Ten Bucks. Were Cranky able to set his own price to Delirious, he would have paid . . . $4.00A disposable dateflick.
